GRTS Releases Detailed Guidelines for Its Inaugural Annual Certification Fee
According to the latest notice from Global Standards, the scheme for the GRTS Scope Certification Fee for the first certification cycle has been formally finalized. Regarding the GRTS Scope Certification Fee: this fee shall first be collected by the certification body from the certified enterprise, and then transferred by the certification body to Global Standards.
Applicable Parties
One of the first enterprises to have obtained GOTS certification and join GRTS by the end of 2026.
The initial certification cycle is divided into two tiers based on the certificate validity period:
€450 per site, applicable when the GRTS scope certificate is valid for six months or longer.
€225 per site, applicable when the validity period of the GRTS scope certificate is less than 6 months.
Purpose
The validity period of the GRTS certificate will be adjusted to align with the expiration date of the enterprise's GOTS scope certificate. Once this adjustment is completed, the issuance and expiration dates of certificates for the next certification cycle under both GRTS and GOTS will be synchronized, thereby making the certification cycles and annual review schedules more consistent and efficient.
