We warmly invite you to participate and take control of the rule-making process: Final round of feedback solicitation for the FSC® CoC standard
The revision of the FSC® Production and Sales Chain (CoC) standard has entered its final round of public consultation. This not only represents the last window period before the new regulations take effect, but also presents a prime opportunity for enterprises to transition from passive compliance to active participation in rule-making.
According to the FSC® International Plan, the updated standard is scheduled for release on July 1, 2027, with an 18-month transition period. We sincerely invite you to submit your valuable suggestions or feedback by June 15,2026, taking into account your company's actual operational realities.

Call for Submissions Guide: Make Your Feedback More Valuable
To help you provide feedback more effectively, we've outlined key areas. You can offer valuable suggestions based on your company's specific operational context and from a feasibility perspective:
- Compliance documentation: What barriers exist in practice when obtaining official documents to prove that a specific "pre-consumption recyclable material" qualifies as waste?
- Service provider oversight: When secondary subcontracting is permitted, can the existing property rights control mechanisms be adequately safeguarded?
- Labor and Subcontracting: Are the evaluation criteria for the core labor requirements risk matrix sufficiently objective and rigorous? Is the source of its underlying dataset credible, and can it truly reflect the actual situation in the China market?
- Practical Implementation Timeline: During the statutory long holiday period, must a written notification be issued within 7 days regarding whether the requirements for non-conforming products are feasible?
- Review Burden: Is the recommended minimum review duration scientifically and reasonably set? Based on your company's actual operations, do you have any more constructive suggestions for improvement?
- Free suggestion: If you have additional comments on any other matters not covered, please feel free to share them in the final question. Your feedback is essential for improving the standards.
