Update to CCS Certification Procedure Documents
As of June 1, 2026, the updated version CCS-102-V3.2 "CCS Certification Procedure" has been officially released. This update introduces significant improvements to the standard framework by removing the management provisions regarding certification body operations from the original specification and instead directly referencing the new institutional requirements document TE-TXL-POL-201 – General Criteria for Certification Bodies.
All relevant enterprises are advised that the updated standards and documents will take effect officially on October 1, 2026, with a transition period, and will be mandatorily implemented starting April 1, 2027.
Regarding the definition of the scope for registered address verification in this update, it is now based on clause D2.6.2(g) and item 9 of Appendix C of the new regulations:
For "Registered address/site with no responsibilities" that meet specific conditions, the certification authority is not required to conduct an on-site audit. The application of this provision requires both of the following objective prerequisites:
1. This address does not involve physical inventory holdings and assumes no management responsibilities related to CCS standard compliance.
2. Without entering the premises for inspection, the audit team can still comprehensively assess the site's compliance through alternative methods.
